Initiative for New Manufacturing
MIT announces its Initiative for New Manufacturing (INM), which aims to ignite job creation and reinvigorate U.S. industrial production with leading-edge technologies. President Sally Kornbluth says: “Helping America build a future of new manufacturing is a perfect job for MIT.” MechE Department Head John Hart is one of the INM's three faculty co-directors.
